Richard Jukonski Obituary
Richard Jukonski, Jr. Richard (Rich) Jukonski, Jr., 50, of Westbrook, Ct., passed away unexpectedly on Friday , March 27,2015. He was the beloved husband to Angela(Milardo)Jukonski, and loving father to Noel Jukonski. In addition to his wife and daughter, he leaves behind his father, Richard Jukonski Sr. of Middletown; his mother, Lois Lenz of Higganum; his aunt and uncle, Donna and Henry Jukonski of Westbrook; his cousin David and Rosalie Jukonski, and their son Michael, of Berlin; his cousin Caryn(Jukonski) and Michael Nieliwocki and their children Hattie and Justin, of Killingworth; his mother-in-law Marie Milardo of Middletown; and brother-in-law Louis Milardo and Raymond Sanchez of New Hope, Pennsylvania. Rich was a 1983 graduate of Vinal Technical High School in Middletown. After graduation, he worked with his father for several years before starting his own business. He was the owner of Jukonski Truck Sales in Middletown. Rich was a kind and gentle soul who loved spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed by all of those who had the pleasure of knowing him. A funeral mass will be held at St.Sebastian's Church in Middletown on Saturday, April 11th at 1:30 pm. Burial will be at the discretion of the family. In lieu of flowers, a educational fund has been established for Rich and Angie's daughter. I am all so, so sad to hear about the passing of Rich. I just heard today. He was simply put - one of the nicest, kindness, most generous and beautiful men that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and doing business with. As a 'girl', he made everything so easy when it came to buying/servicing a truck....it's like he just got it. And as a person to talk to, as part of a couple, as a dad....we was just such a pleasure to be around. Angie, I think the world of you and I am so sad for you right now. When I told Artie, he said the same thing that he has said over the last 10 years every time he got off the phone or had any dealings with Rich 'Rich is such a nice guy'. He too was just heartbroken to hear. He was a lucky man to have had such a beautiful and loving wife and daughter and to have had his Aunt Donna and the rest of his family.
