Richard William Masters

Richard William Masters, 57, of Lapeer, passed away on April 10, 2023. He was born in Lapeer on October 12, 1965, to Sharon E. Masters and Henry E. "Gene" Masters. Richard was a graduate of Lapeer West H.S. in 1985. He later graduated from Le Cordon Bleu Institute of Culinary Arts-Pittsburgh. He was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. Richard was a very compassionate loving man. Family was his priority and he made lasting memories with them. He loved trips to the casino with his best friend Reno and spending time at his grandpa's cottage in Glennie, MI. He will be deeply missed.
Richard is survived by his mother Sharon E. Masters; brother Christopher J. Masters; ex-wife Sandy Putnam; friend Kathy Dodge & her son Zac Stacy; life-long friend Ed Smithhart. He was preceded in death by his father Henry "Gene" Masters; grandparents William & Anna Masters and Richard "Dick" & Marguerite Moore; special aunt Sandra K. White and cousin Daniel L. Phelps.
Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel in Lapeer. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
