I'm so very sorry to hear of Rick's passing. Rick was my rep from Lawson for many years. He was a thoughtful and sincere man and I so enjoyed getting to know him over the years. He will be so missed.

Richard Allen Ullrich is now at peace. As life went on more and more weight was placed upon his shoulders and he stood tall and carried it. I am proud to one be one of his many friends.
Long time gone: Riding the bus to school camp Rick sang out tookie tookie. He was surrounded by his friends and I was drawn to his vibrant personality, as we all were. That is the essence of Rick.
A grandson came into his life in recent years, born a day after Rick's birthday. Rick took care of him. Young Nickolas loved his grandpa and warmed his heart. I miss you Rick. You enriched my life. You had my back.

Dear Rick
I was not super close to you growing up but I have good memories of you those times we got together with mutual friends in high school. You always had a giant smile on your face and you were friendly and kind to everyone during the years I knew you. There were a couple of occasions when I did get to see your honesty and personal integrity, when most high school kids are just trying to find their way. I didn't get to know you as a man but it seems someone with so much character at such a young age would make a fine person as an adult. I'm sorry if you faced challenges that were unfair, and I will never understand why such evil things befall good people. Your passing brought together those you knew as a young man who have not seen one another for 45 years, and I think I can say you reminded us of our many blessings despite our own times of adversity. I do hope your children and grandchildren can live full and prosperous lives which includes telling their children the good memories of you. Your friends just did during the celebration of having had you in their lives. May you find the peace and joy you deserve in heaven. Goodbye friend.

Rick,
You were my best friend. Thank you for having the wisdom to call me consistently and keep in touch. I will never forget all the good times. There are too many to list. I am devastated, however, I know you would tell me to never quit. I love you, I will miss you, my world will never be the same. Goodbye my treehouse friend.
Your Brother,
Mark

Dear Mrs. Ullrich, Deb and family,
I couldn't even begin to list the memories I have of Cindi's little brother all those years ago on Country Club Terrace. We all had so much fun playing at "the swamp" and so many other childhood activities. I recall him getting into trouble with you, Mrs. Ullrich, for twisting my arm behind my back while playing in your front yard :)
My heart goes out to all of you for your loss. Please always know that Rick and the whole Dick Ullrich family will live on forever in my heart. So many fond memories that affects who I am even today.
Love and sympathies,
Becky Renger Nagy

Rick was a good friend of mine back in High School. His entire family was extremely nice to me and I have many fond memories of being over at their house. Rick had style and a glow to him. He had recently reached out to me and made an effort to stay in touch. I had missed seeing him at the last High School reunion and my displeasure of that got back to him.He tracked me down to clear that air. I looked forward to seeing him again and regret that his warm smile and laughter will be a memory and not a future experience. Rest in peace!

Dear Ellie, Debbie and Family:
Christy Livingston contacted me this week to let me know. I am so sorry and sad for you. Your family has had too much tragedy. I last saw Rick at my mom's funeral last April almost one year ago and it was great to see him. After the Napa fires, I sent all my dad's slides to Legacybox.com and they put on a flashdrive. I was just looking at all of them and there were pictures of Rick and me at Senior Prom. Really a blast from the past, I am so very sorry for your loss. Sincerely,
Debra Behnke Phairas

I want the family to know how sorry i was/am to hear of this unexpected, untimely loss. My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to you all. Rick, will truly be missed as a father, grandfather, brother and son. But to me he was a older friend/father figure, good man and a good guy to sit by the pool with and nust chat. I love ya Rick, you'll be missed

So very sorry to hear about Rick's passing. Even though we didn't see him very often, we did share roles as Logan and Landen's grandparents and enjoyed those times we spent together. Our thoughts and prayers are with our grandsons and your family.
