Robert Lee Ross

Robert Lee Ross, 92, of Cabot, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023. He was born April 16, 1931 in Sylvania to the late Lester Lee and Lucille Williams Ross. Mr. Ross served his country in the United States Navy from 1948 to 1958. After leaving the Navy Mr. Ross worked for Carter Carburetor, General Motors and McDonald Aircraft in St. Louis, Missouri. Upon returning to Arkansas he began working as a postal carrier for the United States Postal Service and retired after nearly 50 years of service. In addition to his parents, Mr. Ross was preceded in death by his sister, Sidney Ruth Burgess and brother, Jerry Ross.
Mr. Ross is survived by his nephews, Terry Cathey and Tony Cathey and half-niece, Tracy Burgess, as well as other extended family members and friends.
A graveside service with military honors will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Sylvania Cemetery under the direction of Thomas Funeral Service (501)941-7888.
