Michael Wayne Lucas

Michael Wayne Lucas, 57, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away Saturday, August 30, 2025. He was born November 13, 1967 in San Bernardino, California to Bobby Wayne Lucas and Earline Branch Lucas. Michael lived a life full of passion and joy. He was a hard worker at whatever job he took on. He found freedom on the open road, especially when riding his motorcycle. Music was the soundtrack to his days, and he was often the one to bring laughter, light, and fun to every gathering. More than anything, he cherished time with his family, who were the center of his world. Those who knew him will remember his heart of gold and his gift for making others feel seen and loved. He believed in living life to the fullest, making memories, and spreading joy wherever he went. Michael was preceded in death by his son, Michael-David Wayne Lucas.

He was a beloved father, son, brother, and friend whose adventurous spirit and kind heart touched countless lives. Survivors include his father, Bobby Lucas; his mother, Earline Lucas; his son, Phillip Lucas and his wife Veronica Lucas; his daughter, Amber Lucas; his siblings, Bobbie Bryan and her husband Ben Bryan; Noel Lucas and his wife Carla Lucas; Stephen Lucas and his wife Teresa Lucas; he had five grandchildren, Natalee, Layla, Brianna, Lilly and Kayden.

Michael's Celebration of Life will be at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Destiny Cowboy Church, 97 Burton Road Austin, Arkansas 72007.
