Ron Tessen Obituary
Ronald L. Tessen, age 56, of Berlin, formerly of Weyauwega, passed away of natural causes at his residence on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. He was born in New London on September 28, 1966, son of the late Lester and Carol (Fink) Tessen.
Ron graduated from Weyauwega-Fremont High School in 1985. After high school, he proudly served his country in the US Air Force for two years and then for eight years in the 82nd Airborne Division in the US Army serving in Desert Storm. After the service, he drove semi for over twenty-five years. He was an avid hunting enthusiast. He was always there to help those in need.
He is survived by his children: Vanessa Tessen, Michael Tessen, Rebecca Deaton, Virginia Tessen, Nevaeh Tessen; siblings: Matthew (Nickie) Tessen, Karen (Kevin) Glisczinski, Vicki (Travis) Simons; grandchildren: Kendal Evans, Kaison Evans, Mkkenna Evans, Keeghan Evans, Ethan Deaton, Aiden Deaton, Caroline Tessen; fiancé: Becky Thompson; step grandchildren: Gabe Thompson, Zuriel Thompson, Vaylynn Thompson, Jackson Trott, Leo Marcelino-Thompson. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, Ron was preceded in death by a sister Melissa Tessen, and other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life for Ron will be held at a later date.
