Rose Marie Heald, went to be with her husband, Donald Arthur, who was anxiously awaiting her arrival in heaven, September 14, 2021. Rosie was a devoted and beloved mother, grandmother, wife, sister, aunt and friend.

Rosie was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; daughter, Deborah Sue Anderson; as well as sisters, Margie Jackson, Geraldine Mitts, Shirley Sayles, and Jackie Hoskins; and brothers, Gerald and Franklin Gillhespy.

She is survived by her daughters, Gail Mosher and Karen Traxler; her son, Donald Heald Jr.; as well as her grandchildren, Rebecca McIntyre, Jason Traxler, Tarrah Mitchell, Misty Flores, Tony Heald, Donald Heald III, Shane and Cody Anderson; her sister, Susan Abbott; her brother, Kenneth Gillhespy; and blessed with 16 great-grandchildren.

Rosie was born November 13, 1935 and grew up in Comstock Park, MI which is where she met the love of her life, Donald, whom she married at the tender age of 16. Don and Rosie were married for 58 years before his passing. Don and Rose raised their children in Wyoming, MI where Rosie made a lifelong friend in Mickey Lee. The Heald's spent a number of years in Wyoming before moving out to a beautiful lake home in Greenville, MI where they met Minda, Kim, Pat and Janice, who became more lifelong friends. Rosie had two dear friends, Jim and Betty MacDonald who she visited with and spoke about, right up until her passing.

Rosie was a social butterfly, she never met anyone she didn't like and just loved spending her time visiting with friends, neighbors, and most importantly her family. In her spare time, Rosie enjoyed playing BINGO at the Wyoming Senior Center, playing Yahtzee, or cribbage with her daughters, granddaughter, and niece. Rosie loved nothing better than to hear the ching ching of a slot machine at the casino every now and then. The greatest thing about Rosie was she accepted you for who you are and she didn't mind telling you exactly what she thought. She was feisty, but funny, stubborn, but strong, and wise beyond her 85 years. Rosie left a void in the hearts of many when she passed, she will be missed tremendously and thought of often.

Please join Rosie's family in a Celebration of Life, Sunday, October 3, 2021, from 12:00PM – 3:00PM at the clubhouse in Algoma Estates, 4456 13 Mile Rd N.E. Rockford, MI 49341.
