Russell Wensole Obituary
LIMA -- Russell J. Wensole 86 passed away September 7, 2023 at home.
Russ is survived by his wife Linda, daughter Linda (Tom) Wix of Wausau WI, a son Kevin of Lima. Grandchildren Trevor (Jen) Wix of Green Bay WI, Tyler Wix of Phoenix AZ, Jena (Zach) Schuerman of Lima. Great-grandchildren, Savannah, Maverick and Navy Schuerman. He is survived by a brother Mike (Diane) Hilden of Winona MN. Two sisters, Jerrie (Cliff) VanderLey of Chandler AZ, Gail (Al) Lazarowicy of Bozeman MT. Three sisters-in-law, Pat (Mitch) Black, Sharon Shanahan both of Lima, Kate (Richard) Gilliam of San Antonio TX and a brother in law Michael Shanahan.
Russ retired from Sprint.
As per his wish he has donated his body to Wright State University.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice and Zion Lutheran Church.
