Sandra Ann Davey passed away suddenly on December 1, 2023 at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. Sandra was born on Tuesday, March 20, 1951, in Springfield, MA to the late Robert Arnold Friberg and Lillian Georgina (Hazlett) Friberg.
She was born in Springfield, MA, March 20th, 1951, where she grew up. Sandy and Ric married, August 26th, 1972 in Massachusetts, where they lived and had their two children. In 1986, they moved to Mechanicsburg, PA where she continued to raise her family. Later in life she loved to spend her time relaxing at her summer home in Downeast, ME. She would tell everyone that Maine was her favorite place, where she cherished the peacefulness and the feeling of being back in 1969. She is remembered for her spunky attitude, her homemaking, and her kind heart.
She is survived by her husband, Richard, son, Christopher, and daughter, Alison. Sandy is also survived by daughter in law, Emily, son in law, Stephen, grandchildren, Mykenzie, Morgan, Mason, and Piper, and great grandchildren, Lincoln and Hudson. She is survived by her siblings, Susan and John, in laws, Joel and Elaine, and numerous nieces and nephews. Sandy is preceded in death by her parents, Lillian and Robert.
Family is not accepting flowers, per Sandy’s wishes please make memorial contributions in her name to a charity of your choice. Small gathering to be held at Buhrig’s Gathering Place for close friends and family on Saturday, December 9th, 2023 at 5pm.
