Santiago Garza, of Denver City, Texas, passed away on October 26, 2023, at his residence in Denver City, Texas. Funeral services for Mr. Garza will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at St. Williams Catholic Church in Denver City, Texas at 11:00 a.m. with Father Eduardo Teo officiating. Mr. Garza will have visitation on Friday, October 27, 2023, from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, there will be a rosary at 7:00 pm, in the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements and services are under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Homes of Denver City, Texas.
Santiago was born in Lyford, Texas on August 18, 1948, to Jose Garza and Maria Zamora. On January 8, 1970, Santiago married the love of his life, Inocencia Arriaga, and they were married for 53 years. He worked as an oilfield operator for seventeen years and a transport truck driver for the last seventeen years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers; Reynaldo Garza, Jose Garza and Guadalupe Garza; two sisters Juanita Quintanilla, and Susie Arriaga. He is survived by his wife Inocencia Garza, of Denver City, Texas; four children sons Santiago A. Garza Jr., Betty G. Rivera, Romaldo A.Garza, Renee G. Foster; twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Santiago is also survived by three brothers; Raymond Z. Garza, Robert Z. Garza, Venancio Z. Garza; a sister, Rosa G. Felan.
