Sharon Jesowshek Obituary
Sharon was born on January 4th, 1950, to Clifford and Hazel Matherne in French Settlement La.
Sharon enjoyed an exciting career as a Pastry Chef working for Hilton and various restaurants. Sharon along with her husband Louis returned to her Southern Louisiana roots building their dream log cabin near her parents. Later in her career Sharon began working with John Folse on his many projects including the TV series a Taste of Louisiana. Her greatest joy was cooking and entertaining for her family and friends and the many pets she adopted. Special thanks to the family, friends and neighbors that extended themselves to help her throughout the years.
Sharon was predeceased by her parents Clifford and Hazel Matherne and brothers Forrest and Wayne. She is survived by her sister Melody (Virgil) Roddy, brother Mark (Myla) Matherne, former spouse Louis Jesowshek, niece Lisa (Dean) Callahan, nephew Chad Roddy and niece Jessica (Kyle) Comeaux, Great Aunt of Callie, Chad (CJ), Carley, London, and Laken.
Services will be held on Monday March 27, 2023, at 11:00 AM with visitation from 10:00-11:00. Location: St. Joseph Catholic Church 15710 La Hwy 16 French Settlement La.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your favorite charity.

I lived in Sharon´s rent house on Hwy 16 in French Settlement for 13 years. She was always so nice to me and treated me like family. We would talk about our love for animals. She had a wide variety of animals lol. I had friends come in from out of state and Sharon made chocolate covered strawberries and brought them over. Such a sweet lady.
