In profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Steven Elliott, a man whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Steven, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, left us on January 4th 2024. His love for music, photography, family, travel, camping, and the artistry of building beautiful spaces at home reflected the depth of his passions.
Steven attended Albany High School and Darton College. He worked for over 20 years as the co-owner of Frontier Wax before retiring early to enjoy life. He had many lifelong friends and was often described as the main character of the many stories told.
Steven's memory will forever be etched in the hearts of his loving and devoted spouse, Brenda Dunaway of Pensacola, FL, her daughters April (Joe) Baham and Ashley Deleon, and her loving siblings Betty, Barbara, Randall and Robert. He is survived by his sons Clint, Dylan (Katie), Dustin, Dalton, and Daniel of Albany, GA, and his cherished daughter Christy (Ben) Holliday of Signal Mountain, TN. The bonds of brotherhood were strong, as he leaves behind his first best friend and loving brother Mark (Beth) Elliott of Cumming, GA, and his brother Don (Gina) Elliott of Mobile, AL.
Steven's legacy extends to his grandsons Grayson and Parker Holliday, Issac and Addam Elliott, the anticipated arrival of his first granddaughter, Lorraine Elliott, later this month, as well as many of his spouses' grandchildren and great grandchildren. His influence also lingers through nieces and nephews Leigh Elliott, Lauren (Danny) Brown, Lindsey (Mitchell) Sutter, and Matthew (Cari) Elliott, along with many great nieces and nephews.
He is now reunited with his loving parents, James and Sue Elliott, his brother David Elliott, and extended family Blue Baker, Judy Dunaway, and Max Rogers who preceded him in heaven. As we mourn Steven's passing, we celebrate a life rich in love, family, and the enduring impact he had on all who were fortunate enough to know him. May he find eternal peace in the embrace of heavenly serenity.
A celebration of life will be held in Tennessee at a later date.
