Steve was born on January 4, 1959, to Roger and Norma (Clark) Emerson. Steve lived most of his life on the south side of Des Moines, IA. He married Marcia (Carnes) Emerson in 1990 and they had two children together, Amber and Alex. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, mowing lawns, gardening, going to the Casino, riding Harleys, and the 49ers.
Steve is preceded in death by his father Roger Emerson and his nephew Joe Amundson.
Steve is survived by his children, Amber and Alex (Allyson) Emerson, four grandchildren, Johnny Allen, Kamden Emerson, Rodney Buchholz, and Elaina Emerson, his bonus family the Bowen's, his brothers Randy (Sandi) and David (Kara) Emerson, his sisters, Donna Moro and Becky Emerson, his brother in laws, Denny Tollerud and Rex Amundson, his mother, Norma Emerson, his aunt, Elaine Clark, 12 nieces and nephews, and several other close family and friends.
Inurnment was completed at Sunset Memorial Gardens on September 29, 2023.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
