Steven Mark James, 54, of Moore, SC, formerly of Inman, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Mark was born in Chester, SC on October 16, 1967, a son of Jimmy James and the late Magdalene (Mobley) James. His survivors include his children, Jesse James, Elisa James, Will Cleveland, James Cleveland, and Abbie Cleveland; three grandchildren; and his brothers, Kenny James and his wife Patricia, Bobby James and his wife Lori, and Stanley James and his wife Vicki and a special caregiver Kelly Holt. Mark loved his family, playing music, writing songs, hiking, camping, and kayaking, and was of the Nazarene Faith.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Whitney Free Will Baptist Church in Spartanburg, SC; A memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM with Rev. Christopher White and Rev. Tim Haynes officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Whitney Free Will Baptist Church, 847 Iron Ore Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
