Survived by her three children Kimberly (Kevin) Kelly, Nicole (Adam) Pettit and Brian Pettit; brothers Dave (Maryellen) Schroeder and Bill (Cindy) Schroeder; sisters Karen (Brad) and Nancy (Claudio); sisters-in-law Kris (Joe) Ercoli and Kim; grandchildren Haley, Kendall (Doug), Taylor (J.P.), Shane (Kristina), Ryan, Rachel; great-grandchildren Aubrie, Dominic, Brynlee and one on the way! Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kevin Pettit of 25 years who sadly passed away in 2001; her parents Richard F. and Lorraine (Walsen) Schroeder.
Susan was born in Chicago, Illinois and recently resided in Frankfort, Illinois. Susan retired in 2014 after 3 decades of working for First United Bank. Susan enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and she had a great knack of interior decorating.
Susan was loved by many more people not listed here and her memory will last for generations. Susan will be laid to rest at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois on Monday, November 18, 2024, at 12:30 PM; where she will once again be with her husband, Kevin.
