Syndie Frye Obituary
1960 - 2025
Syndie Lea Frye, age 64, passed away on January 6, 2025, in West Valley City, Utah. She was born on April 4, 1960, in Seattle, Washington, to Marilyn Ellis.
Syndie was a loving mother, devoted grandmother, aunt and friend. Syndie loved to cook and make crafts. One of her favorite things to do was to cook for her kids, grandkids, and all of their friends. She was a natural born caregiver and was Mom or Nana to most everyone who met her. She was extremely kind and generous, opening her heart and home to anyone who needed it, and they were sure to leave with both a full heart and stomach.
Syndie is survived by her children, Minderijha (Aaron) Larson, Kenneth Frye, and Mandeara Frye; her cherished grandchildren, Ryker, Brenner, Christian, River, and Moon; her brother, Frank Seybold; and nieces and nephew.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Marilyn Ellis; her brother, David E. Kukahiko; and her nephew, David D. Kukahiko.
In lieu of formal services, the family asks that you perform an act of kindness for someone in Syndie's memory.

MOM. I JUST AM SO LOST WITHOUT YOU. I KNOW YOU'RE SAFE AND PAIN FREE BUT SURE WISH HEAVEN HAD A NUMBER. THANK GOD YOU WERE MY MOM. I KNOW I WAS A TOUG B COOKIE TO RAISE BUT YOU WERE SO PATIENT AND UNDERSTANDING. THANKS FOR PASSING ME DOWN SO MANY BEAUTIFUL QUALITIES. I KEEP YOUR CARING HEART WAYS ALIVE AND NORMA SURE LOVES AND MISSES YOU SO MUCH. I KNOW YOU COULDN'T HELP OR DO AS YOU USE TO AS YOU GOT SICK BUT YOU WERE A FIGHTER.
