Terry Lee Riddle Anderson

Terry Lee Riddle Anderson, 72, of Marion, passed away at 5:38 am at his residence on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on Saturday, April 9, 1949, to Henry and Elanora Riddle. He was adopted at birth by Florence and Jack Anderson. However, he was raised solely by Florence from early childhood.
Terry married his one and only, Phyllis Conrad, on August 14, 1968. Together they shared five children, Eric (Carla) Anderson, Jason (Marcie) Anderson, Shane (Renata) Anderson, Serena Gary, and Jill Kennedy.
He retired from Marion Housing Authority as Maintenance Supervisor in 2012 due to declining health. Terry was with the Housing Authority for 17 years and had worked in the field of Heating, Plumbing, and Air-Conditioning in Grant County for over 35 years.
Terry enjoyed coaching his children in sports when they were young. He also enjoyed playing pool, card games, cribbage, chess, singing, and dancing. He was known to sing or whistle at work. He loved riding his Harley before his health forced him to give that up.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Phyllis; children, Eric, Jason, Serena, and Jill; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Deborah Foyle of GA; brothers-in-law, Greg (Mary Cay) Conrad and Dennis (Julia) Conrad; several nieces and nephews; and his companion dog, Jagger.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Shane Anderson; brothers, Dennis Riddle, Kenny Riddle, and Jerry Riddle; and sister, Sharon (Riddle) Gray.
There will be no viewing or services per Terry's final wishes. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
