"Loving son, brother, and uncle"
Mr. Thomas C. Lazor, 37, of Southbury, entered into the gates of Heaven on Tuesday March 22, 2022.
Thomas was born in Asheboro, NC on January 2, 1985, son to Ernest R. Lazor of Lakewood, Ohio and Janice E. (Bulington) Lazor of Southbury. He and his family moved to Hebron, CT in 1985 settling in Southbury in 1992. He attended Gainfield Grammar School, Memorial Middle School, and Pomperaug High School. He worked as a security guard for Pomperaug Woods Senior Living up until 2016. He also worked as a machinist at Parker Bros. Makers in Ohio. He was an avid gardener, starting his crop from seeds in his self-made greenhouse. He was skilled auto mechanics and would always work on the family cars. He loved animals, especially dogs and was known by his family as the "Dog Whisperer".
Besides his mother and father, Thomas leaves to honor and cherish his memory; 4 sisters, Jennifer Lazor of New Milford, Amy Cunat and her husband James of Naperville, IL, Melissa Flinchum and her husband Bobby of Rocky Mount, NC, and Rebecca Rowlands and her husband Jason of Roanoke, VA; 3 nieces, Kinsey Flinchum, Ella Cunat, and BellaSuzette Rowlands; and 4 nephews, Thomas Robbins, Aiden Robbins, Kasey Flinchum and Jacob Cunat. Thomas was predeceased by a brother, Matthew Lazor and a niece, Emma Robbins.
Arrangements: Calling hours for Thomas will be held on Friday April 1, 2022 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Brookside Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home & Crematory 200 Benson Road Middlebury. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Benson Road bridge is under construction, please follow "Benson Road/Brookside Memorial" detour signs via Christian Road.
