Tony Leo Williams was born on December 20, 1957 to Leo and Violet (Billington) Williams. He was a graduate of Benkelman High School in Benkelman, Nebraska and Northwestern Kansas Area Vocational Technical School where he studied Electronic Technology.
Tony enjoyed stockcar races, golf, bowling, basketball and Nebraska football. He loved attending his children's sporting events and hugging his granddaughter Zara.
He is survived by his children Anthony and wife Andrea of Lincoln, NE, Drew and Alexis of Sidney, NE, Kristy Kepley Steward of Ashville, North Carolina and granddaughter Zara Williams of Lincoln, NE. Former wife Tammy Williams of Sidney, brother Tom Williams and wife Cheryl of St. Francis, KS, sister, Jennifer Wilson and husband Richard of Benkelman, NE and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Violet Williams, grandparents Glenn and Edna Williams and Guy and Ezelle Billington.

I went to grade school with Tony until my family moved to Oregon the summer of 1969. I was eleven and had just finished the fifth grade. I remember Tony as a kind, soft-spoken boy and I liked that about him.
I remember Tony getting hit in the forehead with a bat during a baseball game at recess. It left a huge bump, and I always felt bad about that. Tony was always nice to me and I considered him a friend.
I would have enjoyed a chance to visit with Tony at least one time during our adult years to reconnect, but life takes us different directions and it isn´t always possible to maintain friendships from such a distance. I hope he had a happy life full of love, joy and family.
