Mrs. Uyen Kim Bui

Mrs. Uyen Bui, age 44, of Lincoln, Nebraska entered into rest on November 12, 2013 peacefully with her husband by her side at home, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born on July 9, 1969 in Saigon, Gia Dinh, Vietnam to Tuong Cat Bui and Xuyen Thi Nguyen. Uyen was employed as a Data Modeler / Analyst for Region V Systems. Survivors include her husband Hai A Tran, son Minh T Tran; her parents in Vietnam; brothers Linh Bui (Van Ly) and family, Don Bui (Patricia) and family, Toan Bui (Thuy) and family; brother-in-law Kenny Tran (Christol) and family; sister-in-law Kym Le (Nam) and family; and a large extended family. She is preceded in death by her great grandparents; grandparents; mother-in-law Kieu Tran; and father-in-law Lanh Nguy. Visitation with family will be Friday, November 15, 2013 from 5-7 PM and Saturday, November 16, 2013 from 10-11:30 AM. Memorial service will be Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 12:00 PM, Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 South 14th St. There will be a reception following the service at 2 PM, Linh Quang Buddhist Center and Temple, 3175 W Pleasant Hill, Lincoln.
