Velma Myers Obituary

Velma was a member of first Assembly of God church in Van Buren Arkansas. She retired from John Garner meat company. She enjoyed camping with many of their friends and cooking was her specialty Velma loved having her family around her. She was married to the love of her life for 71 years.
She is survived by one daughter, Rebecca Myers-Ezell and husband, Robert of Gulfport Mississippi: four sons, Bob Myers, and wife, Kay of Lavaca, Arkansas, Larry Myers and wife, Kathy of Van Buren, Arkansas, Jim Myers and wife Pam of Cookson, Oklahoma, and Ricky Myers of Van Buren, Arkansas, 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and four great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. on Monday, October 2, 2023, at Lewis Funeral Chapel Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at Lewis Funeral Chapel Fort Smith, Arkansas with a burial at Gracelawn Cemetery Van Buren, Arkansas.
