Ronnie Sheppard Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ronnie Sheppard Sr. on October 15, 2025, at his home in New Market, MD, he was 82. Ronnie was born in Poolesville, MD on May 22, 1943, to Nancy Wentzel and David Titus.
Ronnie was a man of principal, integrity, humor, and strength, who dedicated his life to his family. He is preceded in death by his parents, son Ronnie Sheppard II, daughter Crystal Sheppard; siblings, Jackie Sheppard, Omendia Oness, David Sheppard, Rena Flanary. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Eunice; his children, George Sheppard (Cheryl) of New Market, MD; Randy Sheppard of Shepherdstown, WV; his grandchildren, Danielle Edwards (Ryan); Chase Sheppard (Taylor); Kaitlin Sheppard; Victoria Cowan, Ronnie Cowan, Devin Cowan, Leo Sheppard; his great-grandchildren, Lucas, Harlow, Jack, Tate; his siblings, Sherry Offutt; Gail Sheppard
A memorial will be held on Saturday November 8, 2025 from 2-5 pm at Redmen Chippewa Tribe 19 (address: 235 E 5th Street Frederick, MD 21701).
His legacy of love, strength, and wisdom will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew him.
