It is with great sadness we announce that on December 31, 2022, at the age of 70, Victor (Vic) L. Neece
of Smithville, MO passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. He was at home, surrounded by his loving family. Vic, also known lovingly as “Pop” and “Mr. Victor,” was born on July 23, 1952 in Davenport, IA, the oldest of four children. During
his childhood the family moved to Gladstone, MO and he was a 1970 graduate of North Kansas City High School. Vic was retired
from Hallmark Cards in Liberty, MO, having started work for them in 1980. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, and hunter and always
enjoyed boating and the outdoors. Other hobbies included gardening, working with bonsai trees, wood carving, scuba diving,
bowling, traveling and cooking. 
He loved his family and fur-babies deeply, and will be missed greatly by so many. He was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Alice (Ahrens) Neece, both sets of grandparents, and beloved cousin Jim Aherns. He is survived by siblings Louie, Valerie, and Candi; wife Vickie (Guy)Neece; daughters Sonita Martin (David) and Cristy Snow (Robert); grandchildren Curtis Greenfield, Jessica and Taylor Martin; great-grandchildren Payton, Macy, and Halle; former wife Marla (Battles) Neece; daughter Rebecca (Battles) Jobson (Graham); and grandchildren Jacob, Haylee, Kelsey, and Grady Jobson; including numerous cousins, including Bonnie (Duane) Marburger of Florida. Private family services and will be held at a later date. The family suggests contributions to the
American Cancer Society and/or Missouri Department of Conservation.
