Vivian Johnson

Born Dec 31, 1941 in Winter Park Florida to the late Ms. Alberta Dozier and the late Mr. Arlee Richardson Dozier. On Thursday Sept 21, 2023 she stepped out of her heavenly body into the arms of Jesus Christ.
Vivian attended Webster Elementary School in Winter Park, FL and Hungerford High School in Eatonville, FL where she resided until moving to Springfield, MA where she resided until her passing. Vivian worked as a Senior Claims Examiner for Unicare until her retirement.
Vivian accepted Christ at an early age. She eventually joined Greater New Life Christian Center becoming: Mother of the church, a Missionary, Usher and a member of the Hospitality Committee. She also served as treasurer of the Women's Ministry for many years and regularly cooked dinners for Wednesday night Bible Study.
One thing she looked forward to was receiving calls from each of her kids every single day – Brenda in the morning and Linda and Tony at night. She was loved by so many and was known for never letting anyone leave her house hungry
She was preceded in death by the following loved ones: husband Jimmie Lee Johnson Sr, son Jimmie Lee Johnson Jr, mother Alberta Richardson Dozier, Father Arlee Richardson Sr, brother Arlee Richardson Jr. and 3 sisters - Glenn Bell, Peggy Jackson and Mable Quinn.
She leaves to cherish memories the following loved ones -
Children: son Tony Johnson of Rochester, NY, twin daughters Brenda Johnson of Waxahachie, TX and Linda Johnson of Atlanta, GA.
Sisters: Constance Duckett of Phil, PA, Essie Johnson of Winchester, VA and Special Sister Mary Davis of Springfield, MA.
Grand Children: Tony Wilson, Shatava Johnson, Kyle Johnson, Aliyah Johnson. Special Grandchildren: Marcus Stimage-Norwood, Joron Stimage-Norwood, Aren Stimage-Norwood and Nia Stimage-Norwood.
And a host of great grand children.
