Troy L. Coles of Shrewsbury, MA went to rejoice with the Lord on December 28 th, 2024. Born in Frankfort Germany, Troy was born into the military life. He was the first class to graduate from Central High School in Springfield, Massachusetts and then went on to join the military following in his father's footsteps. Troy loved football. Not only did he play football during his years in school but also joined a semi-pro football team as an adult. His favorite team as a child and faithfully through his adulthood was the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Troy was a born again Christian and his love for the Lord was always first. To say that he was the life of the party was a true understatement. Music was one of his passions and he loved to dance! He would be the first one on the dance floor to get the party started. At gatherings, everybody eagerly awaited Troy's arrival. He loved his family and friends with a passion like no other. He always wanted people to smile and have a good time, and God definitely gave Troy the gift to bless us all with so much joy! His stature would cast a shadow on any room he walked in, but his personality would fill that room with happiness and laughter. He was an amazing, selfless and most giving human being. He always went out his way to make life a little easier on the people he loved. Even if he didn't have it to give, he would give it anyways.
Troy's presence and love will truly be missed by the love of his life, his wife Cara (Hitt) Coles of Shrewsbury, MA. His children Jacob, Troy & Sonja Coles and Jasmine Sales of Webster, MA. The sparkle in his eyes, his grandchildren J'Lyn, Skyla, Nighier, Travis and Tristan. His godchildren Jolie and Zahki. He leaves behind his brother Danny Coles of Springfield, MA. His sister Sonja & Armando Cruz of West Springfield, MA. His brother Howard Coles II of Louisville, KY. His Parents, Linda M. Coles of West Springfield, MA and Howard G. Coles & wife Angela French Coles of Louisville, KY. His maternal grandmother Dorothy M. Montgomery of Springfield, MA. He also leaves a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
1 Corinthians 15:52 "For when the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever."
