Wade C. "Bubba" Weatherford

Wade C. "Bubba" Weatherford peacefully passed away in the hospital on Saturday evening on June 24, 2023, around 5:25 p.m. surrounded by all his family. Bubba has gone to be with the Lord.
The funeral will be on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at 9:30 AM at Bluebonnet Funeral Home and Cremation, 8422 Bondale St. Houston, Texas 77040 and Bubba will be buried in a private family graveside service in Bartlett Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Wade was born in Temple, Texas on September 1, 1947. Wade lived for many years in Richmond State Supported Living Center where he made many friends. He worked in the workshop to earn his coffee money, went on field trips, made many friends and had very special care givers through the years that loved Wade. He was always our special angel and now he finally has his wings in heaven. He was loved by everyone who knew him, and he loved his coffee and sitting on the patio. Bubba was a man of few words, but he could get his message across & you always knew what he wanted. Bubba had such a tender heart. He will truly be missed by all the people who knew & loved him.
Wade was preceded in death by his father, Clifton T. Weatherford, Sr. and Mother, Beryl Curling Weatherford, & Brother-in-law, Robert L. Bonar.
Still living are his Brother Clifton T. Weatherford, Jr & wife, Elizabeth Weatherford, Sister, Minelma Sanders Weatherford Bonar (Sandi). Nephews, Clifton T. Weatherford, III & Robert G. Bonar & Wife Christi Bonar. Nieces Tammi L. Black, Claire Weatherford, Jaclyn Bonar & Nichole Weatherford. Great Nephew Robert C. Bonar and Great Nieces Brianna L. Black (Breezy), Peyton A. Thomas-Bonar, & Audrey H. Bonar.
The Weatherford family wants to thank all the Caregivers, Staff, Doctors and Nurses for taking such great care of our special brother, Bubba.
