Werner Kraemer Obituary
Greece - Werner H. "Zip" Kraemer, 92, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2020 surrounded by the love of his family.
Zip was born in Rochester, NY on October 4, 1927 to the late August and Lena Kraemer. Zip was a 50 plus year member of the Barnard Fire Dept, Barnard Exempts, Fireman's Association of the State of NY (FASNY), Northern Central Fireman's Association, and Western Fireman's Association. He was a WWII Veteran of the United States Navy. He also volunteered as a member of the Greece Historical Society.
Zip is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Lucille, his brother, Paul (Nancy) Kraemer, his children, David (Row) Kraemer, Carol Taylor, and Daniel Kraemer, his grandchildren, Christopher (Roxanne) Hanley, David (Jenn) Kraemer II, Kimberly (James) Wildermuth, Christina (Nicholas) Kerr, and Thomas Verhagen, his great grandchildren, David Kraemer III, Ryan Hanley, Logan Kerr, Paige Wildermuth, Riley Kerr, Ty Wildermuth, and Caleb Kraemer, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A funeral service will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church, 4301 Mt Read Blvd, Rochester, NY 14616, on Tuesday, March 3, 2020. "We will begin to gather" at 10 am with services starting at 10:30 am. Burial will be held at White Haven Memorial Park, Pittsford, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Zip's name to Camp Good Days and Special Times, 1332 Pittsford Mendon Rd, Mendon, NY 14506.

Dear Lucy and family, So sorry for your loss of Zip. I remember meeting him and Lucy with my parents, Red and Loretta VerWeire. My parents always thought very much of both of them. They had a lot of good times together. May all of your wonderful memories give you comfort during these difficult days. May he rest in peace.
