William J. "Bill" Herrmann Jr.

William J. "Bill" Herrmann, Jr., 77, of West Bend, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 23, 2023, with his wife at his side.
Bill was born on January 19, 1946, in Milwaukee, the son of the late William Sr. and Gladys (nee Forbush) Herrmann. Bill proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy on the USS Lloyd Thomas destroyer ship. On February 4, 1967, he was united in marriage to Pamela Neuwirth at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Bill was employed by Milwaukee Electric Tool and after 32 years he retired as a Human Resource Manager. He was an avid Green Bay Packer Fan and loved his spreadsheets. Bill was Vice President of the Westridge Condominiums Homeowners' Association. He loved his dog Miss Ruby, landscaping, gardens, and listening to his 4,000+ songs Spotify playlist, especially The Beatles and Buddy Holly. Above all else, he deeply loved his family and spending time with them.
Those Bill leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Pamela; three children, William J. (Di Ann) Herrmann III, Stephanie M. (Scott) Schoen, and Jennifer E. (Chris Mier) Herrmann; six grandchildren, Megan L. Herrmann, William J. Herrmann IV, Allie M. (Nathan) Bellow, Jacob W. Herrmann-Mier, Celeste C. Herrmann-Mier, and Emily C. Schoen; four great-grandchildren, Brayden R. Herrmann, William J. Herrmann V "Liam", Luka R. Herrmann, and Linkoln S. Bellow "Link"; his brothers and sisters, Kathy Lewis (Rene), Mark (Linda) Herrmann, Dennis (Dori) Herrmann, and Laurie (George) Hoops; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Al (Mary) Neuwirth, Penny Neuman, Sharon (Darick) Ottow, and Shirley (Jim) Willard; other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by a grandson, Scotty A. Schoen; his sister-in-law, Judy (Richard) Mudler; his brother-in-law, Jerry Neuman; and his parents-in-law, Alex and Alyce Neuwirth.
VISITATION: Bill's family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Myrhum – Patten Funeral & Cremation Service, 1315 W. Washington Street, in West Bend, from 3 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
SERVICE: A service for Bill will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family in Bill's memory are appreciated.
