Zael Ezequiel Lopez

Zael Ezequiel Lopez, of Universal City, TX, was born on November 27, 2023. Zael gained his angel wings on May 8, 2024. From the day he was born, Zael was a fighter. Defying all odds he graduated from the NICU leaving an imprint on his entire care team. His smile and charisma lit up the room. Despite his short time on earth, Zael was a needed light in our family's life. Teaching everyone around him the importance of slowing down and appreciating every win, no matter how small it felt in the moment. Keeping mom on her toes and snuggling with grandpa were his favorite pastimes. Spending time with grandpa was the highlight of his days. So much so, that our strong warrior held out until he could be with abuelo, Zael took his last breath surrounded by love and in the comfort of his grandpa's arms. Our family rests easier knowing he was welcomed to eternal life by his family who preceded him, especially his grandmother, Sandra Lopez. Zael is survived by his mom, Monica Lopez; grandfather, Ezequiel Perez and wife Francis; aunts, Alejandra Terran, Giselle Rodriguez, Stephanie Hernandez; uncle, Andres Hernandez; godmother, Jazmin Suarez; many cousins other relatives and friends. Rest easy, Baby Zael. Thank you for the memories. You were the blessing we didn't know we needed.
Zael Ezequiel López, de Universal City, TX, nació el 27 de noviembre de 2023. Zael obtuvo sus alas de ángel el 8 de mayo de 2024. Desde el día que nació, Zael fue un luchador. Desafiando todos los pronósticos, se graduó de la NICU dejando una huella en todo su equipo de atención. Su sonrisa y carisma iluminaron la habitación. A pesar de su corto tiempo en la tierra, Zael fue una luz necesaria en la vida de nuestra familia. enseñando a todos los que lo rodean la importancia de reducir el ritmo y apreciar cada victoria, por pequeña que parezca en el momento. Mantener a mamá alerta y acurrucarse con su abuelo eran sus pasatiempos favoritos. Pasar tiempo con su abuelo era lo más destacado de sus días. Tanto es así, que nuestro fuerte guerrero resistió hasta poder estar con su abuelo, Zael dio su último aliento rodeado de amor y en el consuelo de los brazos de su abuelo. Nuestra familia descansa más tranquila sabiendo que fue bienvenido a la vida eterna por su familia que lo precedió, especialmente su abuela, Sandra López. A Zael le sobreviven su mama, Mónica López; abuelo Ezequiel Pérez y esposa Francis; tías, Alejandra Terran, Giselle Rodriguez, Stephanie Hernandez; tío, Andrés Hernández; madrina, Jazmín Suárez; y muchos primos y amigos. Descansa tranquilo, bebé Zael. Gracias por los recuerdos. Fuiste la bendición que no sabíamos que necesitábamos.
