Dolores Ruth Yenni Boisvert

1925 - 2024

Dolores (Dee) Boisvert passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of February 24, 2024, at her residence in Roseville, California. She had just reached the age of 99.

She was born in Portland, Oregon on January 17, 1925, to parents Peter Clarence Yenni and Inez Cassidy Yenni. Her family, which included her sister, Beverly, moved to Napa, California when she was a small child. Dolores attended school in Napa, graduating from Napa High School in 1943. She attended the College of Pacific (now UOP) for a short time following high school. In 1944, she married Charles Bryden. They had three children, James (Jim), Nancy and John, all born and raised in Napa. Dolores was crippled with polio during the 1951 epidemic, but eventually recovered enough to become a devoted golfer. She was very proud of her two holes-in-one.

She and Charles (Chuck) were married until 1959. Some years later she met and married B.W. (Buz) Boisvert. They lived in Napa, CA, Reno, NV and Penn Valley, CA until moving to Roseville, CA in 2005. She had continued to live in Roseville following Buz's death in 2007.

She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Kraus (Joe) of Roseville and her son, John Bryden (Mary) of Napa and So. Lake Tahoe and daughter-in-law, Suanne Bryden of Placitas, NM, as well as her beloved grandchildren, Andrew Kraus (Edie) of Concord, CA, Vanessa Clements (Byron) of Roseville, CA, Emily Bryden (Micah Redding) of Napa, CA, Ross Bryden (Chelsie) of Orangevale, CA, Meredith Bryden Warren of Overland Park, KS, David Bryden of WA, and great-grandchildren, Kellen and Mckenzie Clements, Aidan and Eli Payne-Kraus, Daniella Bryden, Ethan Warren and Andrew and Cameron Bryden, as well as her sister's children, who were very dear to her.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Buz, her son, Jim Bryden, her sister, Beverly Yenni Angel and numerous other Napa cousins and aunts and uncles.

Dolores was laid to rest in Tulocay Cemetery's Garden Mausoleum, 411 Coombsville Road in Napa, followed by a private family gathering.
