Annette M. Reilly (nee Breen), age 92, a resident of Naperville, IL since 1986, formerly of Joliet, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at her home. She was born March 29, 1929, in Joliet, IL.
Wife of the late Thomas Reilly, loving mother of Karen (Joe) Udell of Naperville, adored grandmother of Anne-Marie (Brock) Bandolik, John Udell, and Joseph (Melody Adams) Udell, and great-grandmother of her namesake, Reilly Joy Bandolik. Annette was the devoted daughter of the late Keeran and Annabelle (nee Simpson) Breen, dear sister of the late Gerald (the late Gloria) Breen and the late Kay Margaret (the late John) Stevens, fond cousin, aunt, great-aunt, and friend of many. Annette grew up in Joliet and was a 1947 graduate of St. Francis High School. A loving and devoted homemaker, she was employed for many years as a unit manager at Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet.
Annette was a founding parishioner of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, Naperville, and was a former
member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Joliet. She was also a member of several Small Christian Communities (SCC) at St. Elizabeth Seton, The 90's Club, and Lockport TOPS, a weight-loss organization.
Annette was an enthusiastic fan of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and was proud of her Irish heritage. Please feel free to wear green to her services.
Visitation will be held Monday, March 28, 2022, from 4:00-7:00 PM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville.
Family and friends will meet Tuesday, March 29th to celebrate a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, 2220 Lisson Rd., Naperville.
Future interment: Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville, IL.
