Jon was one of the best friends i have ever met in my life, he is constantly in my thoughts and prayers, he will be missed so dearly, my thoughts and prayers especially go to the Holzer family.

Spent alot of high school years with Jon. He always had the largest smile and the best hugs: I'm gonna miss his positive energy and I pray for comfort for the family. We will miss you.

Let me first say that i barely even knew him, but from the couple times i did meet jon, it was pretty plain to see that he was as about as nice and genuine as a person can get.

I know that Jon is at peace and will have eternal life with the Lord.The Lally family is so saddened by your loss. Brendon has taken it especially hard. We have enjoyed Jon in our home over the years and will truly miss his gentleness and kindness. The Holzer family is in our prayers.

He was one of the most genuine people, I ever got to meet. He always took his time out of the day to please and always made sure to bring a smile to your face. Kind hearted, and easy going. Made him one of my best friends I have gotten to know, while my time at Iowa.

I only knew Jon for a short time while we were freshmen at the University of Iowa together. From our few encounters, though, his kindness and gentleness greatly touched me. Even though I barely knew him, I am sad to see him go. May he find everlasting peace and happiness in the next life.
