Christine Cassara, 65, of Naples, FL passed away peacefully on February 3, 2017 and will be missed dearly by all those who love her.
Christine was born on April 14th, 1951 in Bronx, NY. She was raised in Lindenhurst on Long Island. Christine graduated class of '69 from Lindenhurst High School. She then became an international flight attendant, fulfilling her dream of worldwide travel before choosing to remain home to raise her children.
Christine loved enjoying time at the beach, traveling, and simply being with friends and family. Her sense of humor, warm compassionate heart, and selfless generosity will be remembered by all.
Christine's great joys in life were her three children, two grandchildren, and all of her beloved friends and relatives.
Christine is survived by her son John Bordonaro, her daughter Christie Stage and son-in-law Eric Stage, her grandchildren Sarah and Lucy Stage, her daughter Candice Theriault and son-in-law Jonathan Theriault, her mother Anna Cassara, and her two brothers Lou and Chuck Cassara.
A celebration of Christine's life memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 11th at 11:00am at The Garden of Hope and Courage 332 8th St North, Naples, FL 34102. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Christine A. Cassara to the Mayo Clinic Lung Transplant Support Group in Jacksonville, Florida.

I met Chris at Pulmonary Rehab. We became friends and would get together socially with others who had COPD. She was a warm and caring friend who was willing to offer help and encouragement to others who suffered from lung disease. I would like to send condolences to her family.

Dear Mrs. Cassara and family, please accept my deepest sympathies and condolences on the passing of Christine. Although it has been many years, it seems like only yesterday, that we were all back in Lindenhurst. Chris and I were just kids, but she has remained in my heart, all these years. I always remember those times fondly. May your memories and remembrances of your sweet Christine, bring you comfort in your time of sadness. Words can not express how sorry the Dobbs family is to hear of Ms. Chris passing. We were neighbors in Virginia Beach and enjoyed many days at the beach with the kids. Chris and her family were the first to welcome us to the neighborhood. We had so much fun and shared much over a cup of coffee. My heart breaks for her family.
