Dennis Durian Obituary
Naples, FL
Denny Durian, beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away in the early morning hours of April 24, 2018. He is survived by his two daughters, Allison and Kelly Durian, sister, Mary "Pug" Doepker, best friend, Ronnie Locker, and countless nieces, nephews, and friends. Born in Canton, Ohio, Denny had lived in Naples since 1972. Denny loved reading, music, joking around with friends, sharing endless facts about the world, and stinky cheese. He is greatly missed but will live on in a legacy of "Dad jokes," the use of random household objects as planters, and hand-crafted curiosities. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his memory to the David Lawrence Center.

I was shocked to hear of Denny's death. I lost contact with him over the years, but have so many great memories going back to the 70s. Bartender extraordinaire, he concocted a great blue drink while at the Pewter Mug. Not sure it had a name but I always looked forward to it and visits with him. I remember his dry wit and what I called an "aw shucks" attitude with his impish grin. Rest in peace, Denny, I will always have fond memories of you.
