Joan Rothberg Mann was born March 6, 1925 in Flushing New York. She has an identical twin Margery Rothberg Hiller. She graduated from Syracuse University with a major in Fine Arts. Soon after graduating, she married Jacques Mann, also of Flushing, New York, who she had known since kindergarten.

Joan and her husband retired early in life and became world travelers. They owned and lived in a villa in Corsica, France for 25 years as well as New York and Florida and eventually settled in Naples in 1989.

Joan is survived by her sister, Margery; husband,

Herbert Hiller; sons, Roger and Todd; their wives, Tessa and Jane; three grandchildren, Jamie, Thor, and Tanya; three great-grandchildren, Julian, Sebastian, and Stella; as well as nieces and nephews.

Joan passed away quietly on Tuesday, November 12, 2018 in Naples, Florida.

Her life was full of grace, generosity, and love. We will all miss her greatly.

Joan was our neighbor in Naples. She was a lovely and erudite woman with many interests.

It was a pleasure to talk with her and her smile could brighten any day.
