Robert Raymond Katzenmeyer, 85, of Naples, FL passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Bentley Village Healthcare Center.
Mr. Katzenmeyer was born in Vincennes, IN on July 11, 1927 to the late Arthur Katzenmeyer and Dorothy (Gander) Katzenmeyer. Bob was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp.
One of his greatest loves was boating, in his early years he built and raced his own boats. After marriage he moved to live on, or near the water for his entire life. Bob and his wife moved to Naples in 1978 and as a realtor, he started selling 'Naples' as paradise for over 25 years. He was a member of North Naples United Methodist Church where he served many years on various boards. Bob was a Mason with the Tyrian Lodge 718 for over 50 years and in his midseventies earned his captains license and served the US Coast Guard Auxiliary here in Naples.
Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Katzenmeyer.
Survivors include his devoted wife of 64 years Barbara; his loving daughter, Susan Patitucci and her husband Skip of Virginia; two adored grandsons, Rich Patitucci and his wife Ivona of Croatia and Rob Patitucci of California.
A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home, 28300 Tamiami Trail South, Bonita Springs, FL.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the US Coast Guard Auxiliary, 1099 9th Street South, Naples, FL 34102 in loving memory of Robert Raymond Katzenmeyer.

Dear Aunt Barbara and Susie,
I am so sorry for your loss. Karen called tonight with the news. I remember the visits in Indiana with fond memories. Uncle Bob will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Barb, Sue & Families,
Our thoughts are with you at this time. I remember all the weekends spent at your house with Susie & my dad skiing, Bob driving the boat & myself as the spotter & for me, the faster the speed the better, while you and mom stayed on solid ground. Another memory of a great guy!
