Born on Sept. 16, 1940 in Vernon, he is the son of the late Herbert and Frances Rogers.
Bruce accomplished many remarkable feats throughout his life. After graduating from Tunkhannock High School in 1958, he set out to pursue his passion for working with stone. Bruce's exceptional skills and commitment made him a sought-after craftsman in the community.

Whether it was shaping stones into beautiful structures or simply being outdoors marveling at their natural beauty, Bruce found solace and joy in the world of rocks.

While Bruce's work defined much of his life, he also had a wide range of hobbies and interests that brought him happiness outside of work. He loved spending time outdoors, watching birds soaring through the sky and engaging in hunting and fishing activities. These pursuits allowed him to connect with nature on a deeper level and find serenity amidst the wild.
Bruce's memory will forever be cherished by those who knew him well. His family recalls him as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. His kind-hearted nature and genuine interest in others left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters: Heather Rogers and fiancé David Badalamente, Jennifer Rogers-Davis and companion Eric King; sons: Matthew Harvey and wife Christina, Timothy Harvey and wife Amy, Joshua Harvey and wife Rita, Thomas Harvey and wife Carissa; brothers: George Rogers and Herbert Rogers; sister, Nancy Seachrist; grandchildren: Jordan Smith, Sean Harvey, Tristan Harvey, Logan Harvey, Dean Harvey, Christian Harvey, Ashton Blight, Isaac Harvey; and two of his very best fur babies: Missy and Patches.
