DONALD REGAN

Jan. 24, 2016

Donald Regan, 77, of Dallas, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016, in Wilkes-Barre.

He was born on April 21, 1938, in Scranton, to the late Charles P. and Ruth E. (Wickizer) Regan. His wife of 41 years, Elise (Forscht) Regan survives him.

He is also survived by his three daughters: Kay and husband Michael Hudock of Gastonia, N.C., and Maureen and Bridget Regan of Fredericksburg, Va.; two grandchildren: Jacob and Landon Hudock; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Chick and Janet Regan of Endicott, N.Y., and Jim and Laurie Regan of South Carolina; brother-in-law Benjamin Heal of Clarks Green; aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

His sister, Patricia Heal, predeceased him.

Don was a generous and kind man. He was a family man who was always involved in his children's sports and activities. He will be missed by all for his warm and outgoing personality.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 28, at Nativity BVM Church, with Rev. Patrick L. Albert, officiating. Interment will be in Nativity Pieta Cemetery, Tunkhannock. Visitations will be Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, 232 S. Main St., Montrose.

Donations in Don's memory can be made to Nativity BVM Church, 99 E. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, PA 18657, or to the Tunkhannock Library, 220 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, PA 18657.

When I think of Don I can't help but smile. We had lots of fun times together. He loved Elise and his girls. It was an honor to know him. Much comfort and peace to you all.
