JOANNE DECKER

Joanne Decker, 74, of Nicholson, passed away at home, surrounded by her loving family, after a sudden illness on Tuesday, July 25, 2023.

Joanne lives on through her husband Randy Decker; children: Kim Fekette and James Resseguie (Becky); and her seven grandchildren: Alesia, Garrett, Ethan, Evan, Madelyn, Parker, and Kendyll.

Joanne was born in Carbondale, on Sept. 13, 1948, as the daughter of late Fred Conrad and Mae Barney. She was the oldest of seven siblings, survived by Shirley (Richard) Masters, Fred (Theresa) Conrad Jr., Darlene Brown, and Robin (Angie) Conrad; and preceded in death by Gary Conrad, and Shelva Rafte (missing since 2006).

Joanne had many endeavors in life but her favorites were gardening, her grandchildren, friends, painting, and charities. She was an amazing wife, mother, sister, grandmother, hairdresser, artist, and master gardener.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 29, at noon in the South Gibson Church, 2839 State Route 2067, Union Dale; and a celebration of life immediately followed at 3886 Route 374, Nicholson.
