Kathy Spann Lynn, a faithful servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, left this physical world April 18, 2023, and was escorted by Angels into the presence of her Savior. Kathy was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend.
She was an elementary school teacher for 12 years and then became a business partner with her family here in Tennessee in 1998. Kathy was an active member of English Creek Baptist Church. She was a Sunday school teacher, a child evangelist with the Good News Club, former children's church teacher at Crossroads Community Church, member of an outreach team at the Newport boy's and girl's club, a prayer warrior and a soul winner.
Kathy was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Spann; and her brother, Mike J. Spann.
She is survived by her father, Gary Spann; brother, Randy (Crissy) Spann; her husband of 43 years, Kevin Lynn; sons, Kevin II (Christine) Lynn of Lenoir City, Kory (Amanda) Lynn of St. Petersburg, FL.; two adopted daughters, Makallia and Halie; five grandsons, numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of loving friends.
A celebration of Kathy's life will be held April 23rd at English Creek Baptist Church. Visitation from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m., celebration at 6 p.m. with meal to follow in the fellowship hall. Pastors Tom Shelton and Kris Brady officiating with eulogy by her husband Kevin.
Entombment will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 24, 2023 in the Union Cemetery Mausoleum.
