Martha Grice Obituary
ROSSVILLE - Martha Grice (Barker), 89, went to be with her father in heaven on Thursday (Oct. 19, 2023).
Martha was born Nov. 27, 1933, to Charles and Ruth Barker. She had eight stepsiblings. She married Richard Grice in December 1949, and together they had five children, numerous grandchildren, several great-grands and even more great-great-grandbabies.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three children, two stepbrothers, one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
She left a mark on everyone's life and was a beautiful person. Martha loved gardening, cooking, family gatherings and a good cup of coffee with the best stories and conversations. She will be greatly missed.
Owens Funeral Home, Champaign, is in charge of arrangements. There will be a graveside service Wednesday, Oct. 25, at 11 a.m. at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign. Condolences may be offered at owensfuneralhomes.com.
