Mary Striegel Obituary
MONTICELLO - Mary Cynthia 'Cindy' Striegel, 69, of Monticello passed away at 4:07 p.m. Saturday, July 27, 2024, at the Bement Health Care Center, Bement.
Cindy was born Feb. 9, 1955, in Decatur to Robert G. and Mary E. (Hoffman) Catlin.
Cindy is survived by her sons, William Striegel of Monticello and Josh Scott of Bement; brothers, Steve (Donna) Catlin of Monticello, Gregg (Renee) Catlin of Monticello and David Catlin of Forsyth. She was preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Michael Catlin.
Cindy was a florist and homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, jewelry making and creating greeting cards with her friends in Tops Club. Cindy loved movies and a good laugh. She had an infectious giggle, a tender heart and loved reminiscing with family and friends.
A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, in Monticello Township Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Piatt County Mental Health. Condolences may be sent to the family at mackey-wrightfuneralhome.com.

I'm sorry to hear about Cindy's passing. She was a talented lady. I knew her through TOPS. I think I have a hand sewn bag still she made, it's beautiful. I'll cherish it even more. Thoughts and prayers for all who knew her.
