MONTICELLO - Sharon Nunn, 67, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at home, on Friday (Jan. 20, 2023).
She was born Jan. 13, 1956, to John and Katherine Jenkins, and grew up in Urbana. Sharon loved thrift shopping and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Nunn of Monticello; children, Marty Nunn (Tonya) of Mahomet and Penny Wallen (Brad) of Monticello; five grandchildren, Brody, Bailey, Madison, Maxwell and Maylee; siblings Linda (Bill) Tesman, Danny (Mary) Jenkins, Chuck (Tracy) Jenkins, John Jenkins and Nancy Jayne; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Katherine and John Jenkins, and sister Kathy Miller.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Willow Tree Missions in Monticello. Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Roy, I am so very sorry to hear about Sharon. Haven't been in touch in years. But it seemed like whenever we met it was like no time had passed. Sharon was such a good person. I wish there were something I could do or say to make this easier. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
