Trent Tate Obituary

RANTOUL – Trent G. Tate, 51, of Rantoul died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2006, at Heartland Nursing Home in Paxton. Mr. Tate was born May 17, 1955, in Memphis, Tenn. Mr. Tate was a musician for many years with Memphis Phase Two. He also worked for Twin City Radiator for many years. Late in his life, Mr. Tate found God with his church, Greater New Light, in Rantoul.

Survivors include three brothers, Quint and Warsh Allen and Todd Tate; three sons, Aaron Walker of Bloomington, Trent Williams of Urbana and Steven Monroe of Rantoul; four daughters, Lashawnda Tate of Memphis, Ramona England of Rantoul, Katrina of Danville and Le'Chell Tate of Urbana.

Mr. Tate was preceded in death by his father, Ruben Tate; mother, Bernice Tate; a son; two daughters and a brother.

In deepest regret, there are more children unknown to the family, but our prayers go out to them.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at Lux Memorial Chapel, 1551 E. Grove Ave., Rantoul, with a visitation one hour prior. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Rantoul.
