Arthur Reinke Obituary
Art was born June 18, 1953, in Ashtabula, the son of Donald C. Reinke and Jean M. (Carano) Pirinen.
Arthur was a 1971 graduate of Jefferson High School. He worked the A&P and Jack's Pizza in Jefferson before moving to Cleveland, and attended Lakeland Community College.
Art spent his adult life in the food industry and roughly five years ago he purchased Corduroy's Pizza in Mentor-on-the-Lake.
Art enjoyed playing chess and being around his family. He was a mentor to children and even adults, lending a hand and helping them through their difficult times. He was proud of his nieces and nephews, and they held a special place in his heart.
Survivors are his mother and stepfather, Jean M. and John W. Pirinen of Denmark Township; siblings, Lawrence E. Reinke of Ashtabula, Robert C. (Carol) Reinke of Jefferson, Bradley L. (Tara) Reinke of Chardon, Michael C. Reinke of Jefferson, Christopher S. Reinke of Denmark Township, Daniel C. (Kelly) Reinke of Jefferson and Donna Jean (John) Davies of Willowick; stepsisters, Lori Pirinen of Ocoee, Fla., and Tina Pirinen of Pompano Beach, Fla.; Norma and Tom Rock of Painesville; several loving nieces and nephews; and Jabria Williams of Cleveland.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald C. Reinke in May 2000.
Calling hours will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014, at Jefferson Home of Fleming and Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 49 West Jefferson St., Jefferson, with funeral services to immediately follow at 3 p.m. with Pastor Bill Alvey of the Bulah Calvary United Methodist Church officiating.
Burial will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bulah Calvary United Methodist Church.

Art was a great man, and a greater friend. He was the boss for my mom when she got her first job, and he was my first boss when I worked at Corduroy's the 4 years I worked there. He made me laugh at any time, and he could make any situation better on the fly. I'm so glad I got to have him in my life for short amount of time I did.

Art was my mentor in life as well and had a tremendous impact in my life as he did with several others in his life. I believed he helped in molding me to also to give back to others by volunteer coaching for several years. His guidance and nonselfish ways and giving nature live on through several people and it was all due to him! When my mother recently told me of his passing, I lost a good chunk of my being for he will be sorely missed by myself and I am sure of countless others. He lives on through ALL the lives he touched
and the ongoing countless amounts of the lives he indirectly touched as his spirit lives on with the ones he was directly associated with. He did his family proud and if you are a relative of him, just be aware of the impact he had on so many and of how he lives on through us!

I am so sorry about the loss of Art. He was such a wonderful and caring person. He will be greatly missed by the Headlands community. He was my first boss at Corduroys and a great role model. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
