Russell Bruck Obituary

Russell L. Bruck, 84, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Ohio Living Breckenridge Fairmount Health Center in Willoughby.
He was born in Cleveland to the late Alice Jermain and Leonard Bruck.
Russell is survived by his beloved sister, Germaine Gamble; and his 5 children, Michael (Denise) Bruck, Mitchell (Donna) Bruck, Michele (Carmen) Ricco, Marcia Bucher, and Melissa Bruck. He was very proud of and loved to be around his grandchildren, Matt Bucher (Jessica Webb), Nick Ricco (Sabrina Fuller), Kyle Bucher (Amanda White), Whitney Ricco, Jeremy Bruck (Lauren), Eric Bruck (Lauren Terstappen), Connor Bruck, and Chandler Bruck; and great-grandchildren Owen Bucher, Thomas Bucher, and Clara Mae Bucher.
He spent his career in the overhead crane industry, including the former Cleveland Crane and Engineering Company and eventually retired from Simmers Crane Design Services. Russell was a dedicated provider and family man and always answered the call to get involved in his children's activities. Thankfully, he enjoyed several years of retirement including boating, fishing, and gardening.
Dad will be reunited with his wife, Shirley; granddaughter, Maura Bruck; and brother, Donald Bruck.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 4, 2018 from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. followed by a memorial ceremony at the Lyons Chapel of Ohio Living Breckenridge Village, 36855 Ridge Rd., Willoughby, Ohio 44094.
Music therapy enriches the lives of those with Alzheimer's and dementia. For Dad, it gave him back many wonderful memories. He enjoyed all of the music programs offered by the BV Activities Dept.
In lieu of flowers, we believe Dad would have liked for donations in his memory to be directed to Ohio Living Breckenridge Village (or OLBV), 36855 Ridge Rd, Willoughby, OH 44094 (include a memo For Activity Fund/Music in loving memory of Russell L. Bruck).
