Betty Coble Obituary
Betty Lou Coble, 91, of Walnut Grove Mo. passed away on Tuesday evening, January 14, 2014 at 4:44 p.m. in the Willard Care Center, Willard, Mo.
Betty Lou was born in Ash Grove, Mo. and was a lifelong resident of the Ash Grove and Walnut Grove areas. She was a graduate of Ash Grove High School in 1941. She was a homemaker and a member of the Willard First Baptist Church.
Betty Lou Hawkins and Weldon H. Coble were united in marriage on July 22, 1942. To this union, two sons were born. Together they were privileged to share over 62 years.
Weldon preceded her in death on December 2, 2004. Also preceding her were her parents, W. Kimball and Gail (Dye) Hawkins; brother: W.R. "Bob" Hawkins; and sister: Norma Jean Grant.
She is survived by two sons, Don Alan and wife Linda Coble of Walnut Grove, Mo. and Johnny Wayne and wife Carlene Coble of Ash Grove, Mo.; five grandchildren: Gregory Coble, Katina and husband Matt Willard, Nathan and wife Donna Coble, Matthew and wife Amanda Coble and Lacy and husband Dustin Russell; five great-grandchildren: Brooke Willard, Blaine Willard, Hayden Coble,Tristan Russell and Teegan Russell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. in Wilson Brim Daniel Funeral Home Chapel, Ash Grove, Mo. with Rev. Scott Killingsworth officiating with interment following in Ash Grove Cemetery
There will be no formal visitation. Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. (Today) Friday, to their convenience, in the Ash Grove Chapel.

Special memory to share: Betty's smile was so attractive to me. Betty was very giving. As a neighborhood child, I couldn't wait to get to Betty Coble's house for Halloween, THE BEST homemade treats ever! Then when I got married, Betty came driving up to my new beginning home and brought me a filled box of wonderful gifts to help begin my married life. Thank you Betty for the wonderful memories.
