CHARLES FENERTY Obituary

Charles Joseph "CJ" Fenerty, Jr., 22, of Cape Coral, FL died on December 13, 2012. He was born on December 26, 1989 in Cape Coral, a son of Charles and Kathy Fenerty. CJ was educated in the Lee County Public Schools and was employed as an assistant in the electrical field. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Luis E. Fenerty and his son's mother Karla Villarroel, brother Bryan Fenerty (Anna) of Mt.Laurel, NJ, sisters Colleen (Jack Ross) of Lanoka Harbor, NJ, and Megan (Matt) of Blackwood, NJ, and his grandfather Thomas Fenerty of Willow Grove, PA along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on December 21st at 4:00 pm in St. Katherine Drexel Catholic Church in Cape Coral, FL. Friends may sign the guest book at www.horizonfunerals.com.

I'm glad I was able to spend my childhood growing up with you, and I wish you would be here to grow older with as well. You were an amazing friend and always so much fun to hang around. Every time we were together you always had an adventure up your sleeve, like swimming in the geese poop lake up in North Carolina. You and your family have always been like another family to me, and it pains me to lose someone I was once so close with. You will always be someone I think about and someone that comes up when I share story's about growing up. I'll miss you.

My dearest sister Kate and wonderful brother-in-law Chuck, Our lives will now have a void that only God can help us deal with. The light that was once our CJ will now have to continue to shine through us and in us. Sometimes God calls his angels home early. We may never understand why, but our memories will be long and as share our remembrances during times together we can be assured the chain that is now broken will in time link again. I am thankful I got to tell CJ how much I loved him the last time we talked. He was our "buddy" and we will love and support each other during this difficult time as only a family can. IN TRAGEDY WE GRIEVE, IN GOD WE HOPE. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. (Matthew 5:4)
