Dolly Kitchens Obituary
Obituary
Dolly Kitchens died peacefully in her home on November 2, 2008 after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Thomas Joseph (Joe) Kitchens.
She leaves two daughters, Judy Warrick of Tallahassee, FL and Jill Braswell of Dallas, GA; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, nieces, a life-long friend, Arlene Weddel; her long-time caregivers, Elaine Smith and Bertha Burke; and many other friends.
Services will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

My parents (Howard & Juanita Barrett) of Fort Myers, Florida, were good frends of Joe and Dolly -- I have shared some good times in my parents' home for birthdays and friends' get-togethers with the Kitchens and remember both Joe and Dolly fondly. I send my condolences to you as I recognize Dolly's passing -- she had such a happy spirit and I am privileged to have known her.
