Catherine E. Fernandez

FERNANDEZ - Catherine E., (nee Baumann) 50, passed peacefully away, surrounded by her loving family, in Naples, FL, on Tuesday, January, 23, 2007, following a lengthy illness. Survived by her devoted family; Her husband, Edgardo ("Ric"); son, Alesi; daughter, Faleesha; father, Robert F., of Copiague; sister, Linda Uniatowski, of Naples; brothers Douglas, of Charlotte, NC and Richard, of Mastic; aunts Dolores Wenke and Mabel Sarro, both of Naples; uncle, Donald, of Lindenhurst; sisters-in-law, Ann Baumann, of Seaford and Laura Baumann, of Mastic; mother-in-law, Maria Fernandez, of Puerto Rico; and 13 loving nieces and nephews, in NY, FL and PR. Cathie was the beloved daughter of the late Joan S. Baumann, of Naples and NY, and the cherished sister of the late Robert J. Baumann, of Seaford. Friends were received and funeral and religious services were conducted, Friday evening, January 26, in the Muller-Thompson Funeral Chapel, Naples. Cremation followed. A memorial service will be conducted, in NY, at a future date.
